Terms of Service
1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of Anchor, operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [trade licence no.], [registered address, UAE]. By creating an account or using Anchor, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Who can use Anchor
Anchor is a business tool intended for venues and their authorised staff. You must be at least 18 and authorised to act for your business to create an account.
3. Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
- Currently each venue has one shared login; you are responsible for who at your venue uses it.
- You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
- Notify us promptly at privacy@anchorbookings.com if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.
4. Your responsibilities regarding guest data
This is important. When you enter your guests' personal data into Anchor:
- You confirm you have the right to collect and use that data and to enter it into Anchor.
- You are responsible for complying with applicable data-protection law in your dealings with your own guests.
- You must not enter special-category sensitive data (health, religion, biometric, etc.) into free-text fields.
- You must use guest data only for legitimate purposes connected to your own business relationship with those guests.
5. Acceptable use
You must not: use Anchor for any unlawful purpose; attempt to access another business's data; attempt to breach, disrupt or reverse-engineer the service; use Anchor to send spam or unsolicited marketing; or upload harmful code.
6. Communications sent through Anchor
Anchor can send emails (confirmations, reminders, password resets) on your behalf. You are responsible for the guest relationships behind those messages. Anchor sends messages but does not receive guest replies; guests are told to contact your venue directly.
7. Availability
We work to keep Anchor available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates or changes, and may occasionally experience downtime.
8. Fees
[If/when you charge: state the plans and prices here — e.g. Free / Growth AED 299 / Pro AED 499, billing cycle, and that fees are non-refundable except as required by law. During a free pilot, state: "Anchor is currently provided free of charge during its pilot period."]
9. Data ownership
The guest data you enter remains yours. We claim no ownership of it. We process it only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can export or request your data.
10. Termination
You may stop using Anchor and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms. On termination, we handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Anchor is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profits, or loss of data beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. [A lawyer should tailor this clause — liability caps are where you most want professional input.]
12. Governing law
